Problem

There are murmurs of scope creep and delays without a clear root cause, and frustrated teams ask for a reset and re-brief even though the work is well underway. When deadlines are missed, design usually gets the blame, and when the project finally goes live the outcomes are underwhelming. The real culprits are often misaligned objectives, designers context-switching across too many projects, and long feedback loops. But proving that to stakeholders needs objective data that design leaders rarely have.

Thinking Partner

Problem
LLMs are really useful in helping you organise your thoughts, but they require frequent reminding of your personal circumstances, and a monthly subscription to work properly. They also have a tendency to be sycophantic and seek to continue the conversation beyond where it is helpful. Additionally, they integrate lots of AI-ism in any copy.
Solution
A static, updatable context of the users’ personal circumstances that is fed into all chats, plus a strict set of instructions that allow the user to customise how they want the assistant to behave. Also a connected knowledge graph of any relevant material, and connectivity to contacts databases and email providers. All focused on ensuring when you have a query or question and want to discuss options, the Thinking Partner is already up to speed.

Problem
Personalised wall art is available but tends towards the twee. For interior designers looking to style someone’s house with a very specific personalisation, wall art is either expensive prints that match the client’s preferences but compromise on colour and style or generic art prints that lack a unique element.
Solution
Common Prints fills that gap by allowing you to create beautifully designed typographic posters on demand as a 1 of 1 print, with the text being highly personalised and the style and colour matching a range of styles. Also included are four map styles, where you can put in the location of home, where you like to spend summer, winter and where you fell in love.
The Archivist

Problem
Family archives are distributed across multiple sources – text chats, cloud photo libraries, archival records and most fleetingly, our own heads.
