What this site records

MoreThought is a design consultancy led by Noel Lyons. This note says what the site collects, and what it does not.

Visits

Analytics does not start until you allow it. If you allow it, Google Analytics records the pages you open. If a PostHog project token is set for this build, PostHog records the same kind of visit. If you refuse, neither one is loaded. You can change your mind by clearing this site’s saved data in your browser and reloading.

Report downloads

The research reports ask for your name, email and company before the PDF is sent. Those details are saved on the server and emailed to hello@morethought.co. The server also stores the network address of the request, so a script cannot request the file hundreds of times unnoticed.

The estimator

The estimator and the capacity calculator read a shared set of staffing numbers. Changing those numbers asks for an admin password. The tools do not ask for your name.
